Help us raise £2025 in 2025

In celebration of the Women’s EURO 2025 and the exciting formation of Stour Wanderers FC, we’re aiming to raise £2,025 to kit out our players and set them up for success.

We’ve already been blown away by the amazing support from parents, the local community, and generous businesses – thank you so much!

But we’re not stopping there.

This summer, we’re challenging each of our players to raise £25 in the most creative way they can.
From car washes to cake sales, keepie-uppies to cartwheels (yes, our girls do love a cartwheel!) – they’ll be fundraising for their club, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with.

To give them a great head start, we’re also asking 25 local businesses to sponsor us £25 each.

In return your business will receive:

  • Your logo featured on our £2,025 for 2025 fundraising page

  • A link to your website or social media on our club site

  • A shoutout on our ever-growing social media channels

And of course, that warm fuzzy feeling of supporting grassroots girls’ football.

Can you help us hit our goal?
Let’s make 2025 unforgettable for Stour Wanderers FC.

What's it all for?

Running a grassroots football club is costly – and starting one from scratch is even more of a challenge. At Stour Wanderers FC, we’re determined to keep football as inclusive and accessible as possible. That means keeping signing-on fees low, so we’re not adding to the financial pressure families are already under.

To make that happen, we’re applying for grants and funding wherever we can. But we’re also working hard to fundraise directly, so every girl at our club gets the football experience she deserves – with proper kit, equipment, and opportunities to grow and thrive on and off the pitch.
