We are really looking forward to welcoming you and your children to Stour Wanderers Girls FC. We’re a brand new girls only football club based in the Stour Valley on the Suffolk-Essex border.
We’ll be playing our matches at East Bergholt High School. Travel time from Copleston High School is about 40 mins.
We kindly ask all those attending to familiarise themselves and adhere to our code of conduct.

Player Code of Conduct
At Stour Wanderers FC, every player is held to high standards of behaviour. This Player Code of Conduct follows FA guidance and sets out what we expect from you on and off the pitch.
You’ll find rules about:
- Respecting teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and spectators.
- Acting with integrity (no cheating, no abusive language).
- Behaving safely and responsibly.
- Accepting decisions by referees, even if you disagree.
- Setting a positive example on conduct, effort, and sportsmanship.
- Together, these principles help us make our club a fair, enjoyable, and respectful place for everyone.

Parents and Spectators Code of Conduct
At Stour Wanderers FC, we value the role of parents and supporters in creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere. This Parents & Spectators Code of Conduct uses FA guidelines to explain what behaviour we expect from everyone watching the games.
You’ll find expectations on:

Supporting players, coaches, and match officials respectfully

Avoiding criticism, insults, or abusive language

The site doesn’t open until 10am on Sunday, but we’re hoping we’ll be able to get access a little earlier so that we can kick-off as near to 10am as possible.
Toilets: Toilets are located in the sports centre.
Refreshments: The sports centre do supply some refreshments, however there is an East of England Co-op across the road from the school which sells a variety of tea, coffee, fresh orange juice, pastries, ice cream, slushies and more.
Dogs: Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on site (other than service dogs).
